~ Farewell Old Boy ~

See you on the other side mate...

It is with great sadness that i have to announce that my wonderful siamese cat Hardy passed away on Tuesday evening. He was the grand old age of 20 and had a fantastic life with us. We adopted him from The Blue Cross animal sanctuary when he was 6 years old and very, very thin. We soon fattened him up but he didn't learn to do all the "normal" cat things until we got two other kittens, Gypsy & Tramp, a couple of years later. They showed him how to play and hunt. He was a loyal friend who needed constant attention...an he got it! He was a great charector and we will miss him so much.

HARDY IS NOT WELL :-(

This is my beautiful 20 year old siamese cat called Hardy...he only has one tooth left!
He has kidney disease and is quite poorly at the moment.
He is very dehydrated and we're having to bring the water to him as he's very unsteady on his feet. I know he's very old but i don't know what i'd do without him :-(

THANKS FOR THE GREAT SEND OFF....

Hi Everyone,
Well i finally did it and took voluntary redundancy. I can't believe firstly that i've gone and secondly that they actually let me go !
THANK YOU all very much for the wonderful flowers, beautiful jewellery and cards.
What an afternoon and evening we all had? Firstly a slap up meal at Pizza Hut then off to The Old Joint Stock for too much alochol...Oh my god, what has happened to Fudge? He was so upset. I think all the changes in his personal life and the old team being broken up by the yanks had all finally caught up with him. I felt so sorry for him.
It was great to have so many people there...
Cookie...Pissed and happy and talking to his good lady wife on the phone whilst trying not to sound like he's out of his brain! I'll miss your farting, talking, belching, talking, ranting, talking about cycling and generally having an opinion on everything...just like me!
Gaz...Pissed far too quickly, devasted, broken. I'll miss you very much, you were a very fair boss, always looking out for us and looking after our backs...don't forget me if you ever need a PA if you move onto pastures new.
The Stang...Sober as a judge...looking back that was a good idea not to have a drink! I'll miss you making love to all the female customers over the phone and then wondering why you get stalked!
Ginger Surfer...My new boy. You make a lovely drunk! I'll miss your singing and your dry humour. Make sure you keep your spine straight!
Taoski...Even though you couldn't make it to my doo as you have a new job you were missed.
Thanks for being a great member of the ERM East team and fixing all that was thrown at you.

Today i've spent most of the day flower arranging for some reason !!!
I've also booked up an appointment with the Halifax to go over my finances. I then booked up with Learn Direct to enrole for the ECDL so i can prove i can use the MS Office Suite of Applications!

I hope that your heads don't hurt too much today and that The Stang has fielded all the calls away from you...I hope you've rememered to undivert my phone from Leeds!

See you at the next doo.... The Red Gypsy xxx
